PapierFlora is a handcrafted, natural wall covering made from rapidly renewable and upcycled materials. It combines tactile texture, delicate scent, and ecological integrity. Use it as wallpaper, décor, or self-adhesive foil to create interiors that feel unique, alive, and authentic.
Conditions of use
Generalities: Some of our lines can give off a scent - our natural surfaces bring nature in, not just visually, but also through touch and scent. The raw materials are processed so carefully that their natural scent is retained. The intensity of the scent depends heavily on the temperature, humidity and air exchange rate as well as personal perception. Over time, the scent intensity decreases, as with any raw material. While certain raw materials used in PapierFlora (e.g., hay, moss, and birch leaves) may carry allergens in their fresh state, no allergy-causing emissions are detected in the finished product after processing. PapierFlora can be applied on walls, ceitings, floor or glass.
Hops are far more than just an ingredient in beer – their delicate, golden-hued blossoms are true natural gems. Valued for their calming properties, hops also radiate elegance through their fine structure. As a natural surface, they bring a soft, shimmering aesthetic to any room while creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Lavender is one of the best-known and most beloved aromatic plants – its scent is known to relieve stress and promote relaxation. Our lavender stems and blossoms come from southern France, sourced directly from an agricultural cooperative. We also make use of the stems, which would otherwise go unused, giving them a new life through upcycling.
Skeleton leaves captivate with their delicate structure and timeless elegance. Through a special drying process, only the fine leaf veins of the real rubber tree leaves remain – creating a natural eye-catcher with impressive lightness. Each leaf is carefully hand-picked and meticulously applied to ensure consistently high quality.
The regionally harvested Alpine hay is sustainably processed and delivered to the manufactory via short transport routes. Rich in valuable herbs, it has been appreciated for its calming effects for centuries. This natural material creates a pleasant indoor atmosphere, promotes well-being, and helps preserve the inner-Alpine highland meadows. It also offers a positive climate footprint: 1 kg of hay binds 0.45 kg of CO₂ – nature with added value.
