PapierFlora is a handcrafted, natural wall covering made from rapidly renewable and upcycled materials. It combines tactile texture, delicate scent, and ecological integrity. Use it as wallpaper, décor, or self-adhesive foil to create interiors that feel unique, alive, and authentic.
Conditions of use
Generalities: Some of our lines can give off a scent - our natural surfaces bring nature in, not just visually, but also through touch and scent. The raw materials are processed so carefully that their natural scent is retained. The intensity of the scent depends heavily on the temperature, humidity and air exchange rate as well as personal perception. Over time, the scent intensity decreases, as with any raw material. While certain raw materials used in PapierFlora (e.g., hay, moss, and birch leaves) may carry allergens in their fresh state, no allergy-causing emissions are detected in the finished product after processing. PapierFlora can be applied on walls, ceitings, floor or glass.
The regionally harvested Alpine hay is sustainably processed and delivered to the manufactory via short transport routes. Rich in valuable herbs, the hay creates a calming atmosphere and helps preserve the highland meadows. Colourful petals from heather, cornflowers, sunflowers, lavender, roses, and daisies lend the surface a natural diversity of colour.
The Mediterranean plant world has long symbolised vitality and well-being. Herbs such as Greek mountain tea and lavender have a balancing and relaxing effect, while olive leaves release a fresh, natural scent. Colourful blossoms from cosmos, delphinium, cornflowers, and marigolds bring a sunny lightness into the space.
Lavender is one of the best-known and most beloved aromatic plants – its scent is known to relieve stress and promote relaxation. Our lavender stems and blossoms come from southern France, sourced directly from an agricultural cooperative. We also make use of the stems, which would otherwise go unused, giving them a new life through upcycling.
